Youth For Christ

This summer, something new is happening across Youth For Christ. Two young leaders--Drew Sheppard and Jackson Nugent--have hit the road in a 28 year old RV to visit YFC chapters across the country, meeting the next generation of ministry leaders and telling their stories. They are interviewing Gen Z staff, volunteers, interns, and leaders who are faithfully serving young people in communities across America. Along the way, they're creating short-form content for TikTok and instagram designed to inspire more young Christians to consider ministry as a calling.

Here's how you can stay connected

1. Amplify the journey.

The easiest way to support this effort is simply by following along. Every follow, share, comment, and like helps these stories reach more young leaders through social media algorithms. Simply following the channels, liking, commenting, and sharing is so helpful.

2. Help keep this work moving.

Traveling thousands of miles, creating content, and investing in future ministry leaders requires generous support. If this vision resonates with you, would you consider making a gift to help fund this initiative and future leadership development efforts?

Every dollar helps us continue telling these stories and inviting more young people to discover that God may be calling them into ministry.

Support

Thank you for cheering on Drew and Jackson this summer—and for investing in the next generation of young leaders. Together, we're raising up leaders who will reach young people with the hope of Jesus for generations to come.

Blessings,

New York Yankees vs Tampa Bay Rays

The stadium was great, the company was excellent but my boys (NY Yankees) made me proud. The Rays weren't too bad, they got 1 run.

NEW VENTURES

  1. Have decided to team up with a contact I met through the "Beauty for Ashes" conference last month and will be doing another podcast to promote my book (Redemption #651)

  2. Also, have signed on with an agent in New York to do a press release in the next coming months.

  3. So excited to see that my book is now available at Walmart.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

Grand rising and blessings, family. This week's topic is: YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I remember a few weeks ago lying on my bed, feeling a bit sad and lonely, just looking up at my ceiling. I was lying there in silence, contemplating asking God to give me a sign that he knew how I was feeling. I didn't talk to God, but he knew what was on my mind and only a believer would know what a "God Wink" is. Lying in silence, I closed my eyes and when I opened them: there was a bird looking down at me and I just knew, it was the Holy Spirit telling me, I am with you. It changed the entire outlook of my day. I smiled and said, "I hear you and I know I am not alone." To someone who doesn't believe, it would have probably just been a bird. However, I know how God does things to let me know he's there and this was one of those times.

(The picture you see is what I saw out of my window that day!)

One of the most famous examples of how God communicates day-to-day shows that the "sign" isn't in the chaos, but in the quiet. It may be a physical sign, a whisper or just a warm feeling when you know you are in his presence.

"Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with him] be the controlling factor in your hearts..." (Colossians 3:15)

Are there times you are feeling sad, lonely or overwhelmed and you want a sign that you are not alone?

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives..." (Matthew 7:7-8)

Have a wonderful week
