BEAUTY FOR ASHES CONVENTION
(Ladies' Pajama Party)
It was so much fun to laugh the night away with such talented Christian women. There were comedians, Bestselling Authors, and thriving business kiosks, setup in the lobby of the event. We had yummy snacks and drinks and the comedians were hilarious. Gut wrenching standup performances, music and we met some amazing women.
FAITH & FAMILY MONTH
Our church promoted "Faith & Family" month of which I was happy to place on the lawn!
Grand Opening

WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING!
Grand rising and blessings, family. It's Monday, June 29th and this week's topic is: WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING? It is wonderful to be used for God's glory but it is not always easy. Trials are not punishment but a crucial step in revealing what's truly in your heart. Isolation can be one of these trials. What I've learned is that sometimes the silence is louder than a bomb. It may feel like your prayers are not being heard or answered; however, this wilderness is an opportunity for growth, purification or a way to deepen your faith and reliance on God. We are stripped of our usual comforts and securities, forced to confront our own limitations and deepen our trust in the creator. It breaks your pride and lays bare your weaknesses. It reveals the areas of your heart that are not truly surrendered.
In these moments of isolation, you are left without human support or applause and you learn the only one you really need to please is God. It's like a radio being tuned to God's station. You can now hear him clearly without interruption or static.
Jeremiah was thrown into isolation into the cistern of Malchiah, King David was hunted by Saul, Joseph was sold by his brothers, imprisoned and even Jesus after being baptized by John the Baptist, was led to isolation to be tempted by Satan before he began his ministry.
Therefore, if you are feeling that you're isolated, or in the wilderness, it may be that you are being prepared for elevation. The wilderness is not meant to crush you but to equip you. The wilderness is where the chosen are trained. Your worst season can be your best testimony.
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Heavenly father, thank you for the trials you use to make me stronger, dependent only on you. Continue to build my character and remove that which is not surrendered to you. In Jesus name. Amen🙏
Have a great week.
